Richard P. Bertolino Sr., a beloved resident of Lynnfield, formerly of East Boston and Revere, passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 81. He was the loving husband of Esther A. (Kramer) Bertolino, sharing 61 years of cherished companionship.
Born in Boston on July 19, 1942, Richard was the son of the late Peter and Carmella (Chirco) Bertolino. Throughout his life, he exemplified dedication and devotion to his family. Richard was the proud father of Richard P. Bertolino Jr. and his wife Karen of Lynnfield, and Linda Rivera and her husband Frankie of Lynnfield.
In addition to his children, Richard was a caring brother to Josephine Schott and was predeceased by five brothers and one sister. His memory will be treasured by his grandchildren, Nicole Bertolino and Tayla Gomes, as well as his great-grandchildren, Gianna and Vivianna Hussien, and Haven and Senna Gomes.
Richard's life was marked by his generosity and compassion for others. His legacy of kindness and selflessness will endure in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be remembered fondly by his extended family and friends.
Family and friends will honor Richard's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home ~ North Shore Chapel, 10 Chestnut Street, Peabody, on Sunday, April 21st, from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 P.M. Committal services will be private.
